What they wanted
The Bridge programme wished to implement a continuous quality improvement system in their organisation. They wanted to ensure consistent, high-quality and sustainable service provision across the team and felt that external support and facilitation was essential to this.
What we did
QM worked with the manager to design an 18-month process that began with a complete health check of the organisation. Following this, we ran a number of facilitated sessions with the Board, the staff team and the manager. These sessions focused on emerging issues, or areas that were particularly challenging for the team. Bridge received a number of tailored policy guidebooks that were informed by all key stakeholders, good practice in the sector, and custom and practice in the organisation. These guidebooks formed the basis of service provision and the running of the organisation.
What they said
The Health Check was incredibly thorough and provided us with a very clear blueprint for how we will develop our organisation over the next few years. Staff found the process interesting, well explained and very respectfully managed. The concrete recommendations and support in developing an action plan were extremely professional and well facilitated; your experience in the field of organisational improvement was very clear and very helpful. What at first seemed overwhelming now seems very achievable. I would not hesitate to recommend the QM Health Check to any organisation that wishes to improve and to consolidate their team and board in a concrete plan for how this can be done.
