We believe that all people who have survived trauma should be able to access, and remain engaged with services where they feel safe, supported and encouraged to heal and grow. We support organisations who share this vision by providing Training, research and implementation supports. Our online training programme involves a three hour online course that learners can do at their own pace. Online training covers applied theory and includes lectures, quizzes, role plays and exercises. The lead lecturer is Dr Sharon Lambert, who is well recognised as an Irish expert on this topic. Sharon’s years of experience in frontline service provision and her experience as a psychologist make her an engaging and dynamic lecturer. Online training is provided in person via zoom (through Covid) over 2 x 3 hour workshops by practice experts and focuses on applying theory to the real workplace environments.
Evaluations of this programme are very positive and there is emerging evidence that this model reduces incidents in low threshold services.
